A certified SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) is a Scrum Master responsible for improving team results through the facilitation of cross-team interactions and relentless improvement. Attending the class prepares you to take the exam and become a SAFe® 6 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM).

Exam requirements:

• The first step toward becoming a SASM is to attend the SAFe Advanced Scrum Master course. This is a requirement because attending the course provides access to all the study materials and the exam. Note that attending the course does not guarantee to pass the exam.

• Exam Name: SAFe® 6 Advanced Scrum Master Exam

• Exam format: Multiple choice; Multiple select

• Exam delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed

• Exam access: Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the SAFe 6 Advanced Scrum Master course

• Exam duration: Once the exam begins, candidates have 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam

• Passing score – 44 out of 60 (73%)

How do I enroll for the CSM certification course?

You can enroll by selecting a date from the upcoming schedule or by contacting our learning advisors. You can complete the online payment using MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or PayPal and receive auto-generated acknowledgment via email.

What are the CSM certification exam pattern and passing scores?

The CSM exam comprises 50 multiple-choice questions. To qualify for the exam you must answer a minimum of 37 questions correctly. 74% is the passing score.

Should I take the exam immediately? I need time to prepare for the exam.

You will have 90 days to take the exam free of charge. If you fail on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for free within 90 days of receiving your welcome email. In case of a third attempt or any attempt after the 90 days period, you will be charged a minimum of $ 25 per attempt.

How come your two-day certification training is enough to pass the CSM Exam?

CSM exam is an open book exam and easy to pass after you receive training. However, we advise you to go through the resources available on the Scrum Alliance website. These resources will help you familiarize yourself with the concepts of Scrum and lead you to greater success in the CSM exam.

Can I crack the CSM exam on the first attempt?
